Daybreakers

Not much clever to say about this recent vampire flick or its accompanying dirge-filled soundtrack, aside from the fact that I enjoyed them both and frequently spin this one in the dark of night to facilitate weird new states of consciousness, which I shall promptly begin now.

  1. I didn't mind this either. One of those movies that borrows from everywhere but somehow ends up being quite original. I can't even remember the score, but I'm interested to give it a listen.

  2. Yeah, did you see Undead? Not much originality but a nutty enough mishmash to make it entertaining. I'd like to see these guys do something really wild and original, though.

  3. "Not much originality but a nutty enough mishmash to make it entertaining" sums up Undead perfectly. The Peter Jackson worship is too on the nose, but I appreciate it's enthusiasm and ambition. Daybreakers has a fun Carpenter vibe.
